The last year has been one of huge change for most people, and for their pets. As a nation of animal lovers it is no surprise that we have turned to our four-legged friends for comfort.
The PDSA recently reported that the major changes that lockdown has brought to dog ownership is that people have relied on their dogs more for companionship and to help them feel less stressed, further cementing dogs as members of the family and not just pets. And quite rightly so, every dog owner will understand the important role dogs play in our happiness.
